Our Team
Our Team is well trained and eager to assist with all surgical needs, billing and scheduling questions. We pride ourselves on prompt service, professionalism and compassionate care for our patients. Our surgical staff at Contours Oral Surgery include experienced Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Registered Nurses, and trained Surgical Assistants. We also have medical specialists in Anesthesia who administer IV sedation and general anesthesia for surgery.
Office Management
Melodie
Office Manager , Melodie brings over 35 years of experience in the dental field to her role as Operations Manager at Contours Oral Surgery. A graduate of the NAIT dental assisting program, over the years she has developed a strong foundation in both clinical practice and patient care, further supported and strengthened through extensive management training.
She Supports high performing teams with a focus on efficiency, organization and exceptional patient care while fostering a collaborative environment and upholding the highest standards within the surgical setting.
Outside of her professional role, she enjoys travelling around the world, but can alternatively be found golfing ,spending time with her family, close friends, and her Siamese- Ragdoll cat, Casey.
Surgical Support Team
Alyssa
Surgical Assistant, RDA Alyssa graduated from the NAIT Dental Assisting program in 2009 and went on to work in general practice for 3 years before moving into oral surgery where she has worked since. In her free time, Alyssa spends it with her husband, two children and two poodles camping and farming. Alyssa is an avid equestrian and has been riding since the age of 8 and she now enjoys the sport with her daughter and their two horses.
Carlee
Surgical Assistant, RDA Carlee graduated from the NAIT dental assisting program in 2017 and worked in general dentistry for 5 years before joining the Contours team in June 2022. Outside of work, she loves spending time outside with her husband and they go hiking and camping as much as possible in the summer. She also enjoys being an auntie to her many nieces and nephews and spending as much time as possible watching them grow.
Katrina
Surgical Assistant, RDA Katrina, has been a practicing Registered Dental Assistant for over 17 years. Joining Contours Oral Surgery in June 2021, she has been a wonderful addition to the team and always brings laughter to the office. She strives to make all of her patients feel comfortable and treats everyone with an exceptional level of care and compassion. In her spare time, she loves spending time with her family and her puppy dog Zoey!!
Krista
Treatment Coordinator, RDA Krista, as a Registered Dental Assistant, initially began her career in British Columbia. Having joined Contours Oral Surgery in February 2017, she has been an exceptional addition to the team. Her warm and friendly demeanour is an essential part of patient at Contours Oral Surgery. Krista also has a huge heart when it comes to animals, she is an experienced equestrian and loves her budgie Percy.
Robyn
Surgical Assistant, RDA Robyn, started her career in Orthodontics over two decades ago. Having now transitioned to Oral Surgery, she loves this new field of Dentistry! Outside of work, Robyn loves to travel, spend time with her family, and is a big animal lover, especially dogs!
Front Desk & Admin Team
Cellene
Cellene began her dental career in 2015. She worked in general dentistry and prosthodontics for many years and realized her interest in Oral Surgery, joining the Contours Oral Surgery team in June 2025. When she is not working, she loves spending time with her husband and 2 dogs, Mavryck and Willow, at their family cabin in Invermere, BC, where they spend all their time on the lake surfing and soaking in the sun.
Dakota
Dakota graduated from MacEwan University in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science, and had been working from home as a patient care coordinator in diagnostic imaging. Glad to be back in the office, and eager to learn, she is excited to be a part of the team! In her free time, Dakota loves to read, play board games, and spend time with her partner and their two kitties.
Reegan
Reegan is the friendly front office face, that welcomes every individual that walks into our practice. Her friendly demeanor and helpful mannerisms create a positive and seamless experience for every patient we welcome as our guests. This country gal enjoys music rodeo and dancing; time well spent with her family and friends.
Sarah
Since entering the dental field in 2024, Sarah has been dedicated to helping patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout their care. With a patient-first approach, she’s known for her calm and approachable nature, she strives to create a positive experience for everyone she interacts with. Outside of work, she is an avid dog lover and enjoys spending time with her golden retriever. Her favourite hobbies include hiking, gardening, camping, solving puzzles, and reading —always balancing a love of the outdoors with quieter moments at home.
